This is the ring that Oskar Schindler was given as a thank you gift from all the Jews he saved. One man was an expert in such things and made this for him.

Oskar wasn't a ideal hero. He was a former Nazi who spied for German. Then he was your very typical business man and wasn't the best of husbands, being that he was a total drunk.
But besides that, his legacy is great. More that 8,000+ people owe their lives to Oskar Schindler, because if he hadn't saved their ancestors they wouldn't even be here. He was a risk taker and he gave all his money, time, and effort into those Jews. He did everything he was capable of doing for them and being of that, they lived.
He left a legacy of doing what's right for somebody in their time of need, no matter what risks are taken. For standing against what's wrong and doing what's right. He proved that even in a time of darkness there's some hope.
