Facts About Oskar
1. Liam Neeson played Oskar Schindler in the movie Schindler's List By Stevens Speilberig. (1993)
2. Oskar didn't believe in the Jews religion yet he still saved them.
3. Oskars camp was known as a safe haven. Nobody was beaten or hurt there.
4. There was widespread food shortages, but everybody knew that the would be decently fed there.
5. In 1944, his factory was going to be shut down and his Jews would be sent to Auschwitz. The cleaver business man he is, offered a counter proposal. He offered to move his factory. With the exchange of some money, the SS officer even offered to throw in his support behind the plan if Oskar made a list of people he wanted to keep. Thus, the theory of "Schindler's List".
6. It is impossible to pinpoint the exact moment of when Oskar decided to go from your typical business man, to a savior of many.
7. Another gift given to Oskar was a letter written by all the Jews that said all the good deeds that he had done in case he was ever captured and needed it to defend himself. (The ring was the other gift.)

9. He never regained any of his wealth that he had spent on the Jews.
10. He died penniless, he had only a small pension from the German Government.
